In year 3, we are currently learning about the different functions of a plant and why they are important. Currently, we are doing two experiments across the next few weeks. The first is a comparative experiment to see what would happen to the plants with all their leaves, some of their leaves, and with no leaves. The second experiment is an observational one, where the children have put celery in dyed water, to see how water is transported through the plant.
