The Hackney Learning Trust are responsible for setting the admission arrangements for all schools for which they are the Admission Authority – that is, community and voluntary controlled schools in the borough.
For voluntary-aided schools, academies, foundation schools or free schools each school governing body or Academy Trust is their own admission authority.
Applying for a reception class
If your child was born between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017, they are due to start primary school in September 2021.
The closing date for applying for your child’s primary school place was 15 January 2021. The outcome date will be 16th April 2021.

If your child was born between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018, they are due to start primary school in September 2022.

Admissions for Years 1-6
From time to time, we also have vacancies in other year groups. To apply for a place for one of our Years 1 to 6 classes, parents need to go to the Hackney Learning Trust to fill out a mid-term transfer form. We encourage visits to the school for prospective families. If you would like to arrange a visit to see the school, please call the school office on 0207 739 4902.
