Cherry Class were given pieces of clay to explore bending, stretching, squashing and twisting. They learnt that we call these properties of materials, which help us to organise materials and objects. Using objects around the room, such as paperclips, pencils, elastic bangs, lego and more, they explore bending, stretching, squashing and twisting. To conclude, they discussed the material the object was made from, identifying its properties.
