Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back, and a very Happy New Year to you all! I hope you and your families had a wonderful break and were able to enjoy some time together, rest, and recharge over the holiday period.
It is hard to believe that we are already a third of the way through the academic year. Time really does fly, and as we begin this new term there is much to look forward to, with lots of exciting learning and activities planned for the weeks ahead.
I hope you have had a chance to read through the key dates listed below and have noted the important events taking place this half term.
As the weather remains cold, please continue to support us in keeping everyone safe and healthy. Ensuring children come to school warmly dressed, encouraging good hand hygiene, and keeping them at home if they are unwell all help us to look after our whole school community.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We look forward to a positive and successful start to the year ahead.
Warm regards,
Spring 1 Dates
Below is a poster of key dates for Spring 1. We are waiting on confirmation about the coffee mornings/afternoons so please look out for the updated poster after the break.

PE Update
Welcome Coach Jonea Peter!
We would like to inform parents and carers of a recent change to our PE provision with BADU Sports. BADU has had some restructuring and this means that sometimes staff change. From now on, we will be welcoming Coach Jonea Peter, who will be leading PE delivery in school on Wednesdays.
Jonea brings skills and knowledge, with a strong background in physical movement and a particular interest in supporting and promoting female participation in sport. We are very pleased to have her joining our school community and are confident the children will benefit greatly from her expertise and enthusiasm.
If you see COach Jonea around school, please feel free to introduce yourself and say hello.
Welcome to the team, Jonea!
