Dear St John the Baptist Families,
It was lovely to see and speak to so many parents this week at our Children’s Progress Meetings. Feedback from parents both on the night and via the parent survey will help us continue to grow and develop. Thank you to all the parents and carers who have, and continue to, work together with St John the Baptist staff to ensure all children are succeeding by making excellent progress.
I look forward to seeing you all at the Christmas Fayre on Tuesday 12th December from 3:30pm. There are lots of great activities for the children, including games and challenges competitions, tombola, craft activities, face painting and the cake stall (to name just a few) and we are hoping that we have a special visitor (ho, ho, ho!). There will be so many activities for the children (big and small) to enjoy! Please do drop in any donations for the cake stall this Monday or Tuesday morning. The raffle will be drawn approximately 5:15 pm on the night.
Next week we also have nativity performances which we are looking forward to. The children have been practising hard and are keen to show you what they can do.
Each Nativity will be starting at 2 pm on Thursday (Y5 & 6) Friday (Y2,3 and 4) and the following Monday (EYFS and Y1)
As you know we are also awaiting the publication of our latest OFSTED report, which we expecting imminently. We will keep you updated and let you know as soon as it is!
Have a lovely weekend.
Best wishes, Toni Mason

All books will be half price still so please do come and grab some bargains.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Please bring back the tickets you have sold.
We will be drawing out winners at the Christmas Fayre.
They are £1 a strip (5 tickets).
Your child will have brought home some for you to buy, please do ask for more if needed at the office.
We are also selling them at the office so do pop in.
We now operate an a nearly new uniform shop. Please visit the school office and have a look at the many items we have available.
Can you please help us?
To make this a success we will be dependent on the generosity of parents and carers donating their children’s uniforms when they have finished with them. All funds raised go straight to our various fundraising projects and therefore benefit all the children in the school. Donations of uniform and PE kit can be left at Reception, in school hours, all year round.
Thank you for supporting the school.
