Dear Families,
It has been a wonderful first week back and a fantastic start to the Summer Term. The children have returned full of enthusiasm and have quickly settled back into their learning. We are looking forward to a busy and exciting term ahead.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended our Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) consultation on Tuesday. We had some thoughtful discussions and as a home/school group, felt confident about the way we are planning to deliver the curriculum across the school.
For those who were unable to attend, please keep an eye on your emails later next week as we will be sending out the presentation slides which provide an overview of the key information discussed during the session. In addition, a letter containing links to all of the resources that your child’s teacher will be using in class will be attached. We hope this will give you an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the materials and raise any specific questions you may have. We will also be holding a drop-in session next Thursday for any parents or carers who would like to discuss the curriculum further.
Looking ahead, we have lots of exciting events planned for Summer 2. Please take a moment to look carefully at our Summer 2 dates poster to ensure you don’t miss any of the fantastic opportunities and celebrations coming up.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We look forward to another successful term working together.
Best wishes,
Ms Toni Mason

Our Summer Fayre is fast approaching, and we would be very grateful for donations of tombola items and raffle prizes.
Please have a look around at home for any suitable prizes that you would be happy to donate. The more prizes we receive, the bigger and better our event will be, helping us to raise valuable funds for the school.
Some ideas include:
If donating food, chocolates or other edible items, please ensure they are unopened, in date and in their original packaging.
Thank you for your generosity and support. Every donation, big or small, helps to make our Summer Fayre a success!
Also, if you want to have a say in this year’s organisation, then remember to attend the FOSJB meeting on Monday at 08:50. See you there!
As the weather gets warmer, many children enjoy spending time near rivers, lakes and other open water. While water can be fun, it can also be dangerous.
Remember these important safety tips:
💧 Never swim in rivers, lakes or ponds unless it is a safe, supervised area.
💧 Cold water can be dangerous, even on a hot day. Jumping into cold water can cause your body to go into shock and make it difficult to breathe or swim.
💧 Think before you go near the water. Strong currents, deep water, slippery banks and hidden objects can all be dangerous.
💧 If someone is in trouble:
Enjoy the sunshine and stay safe!
