Dear Parents and Carers,
What a wonderful term it has been! From exciting trips to special celebrations, our school has been buzzing with energy, learning, and memorable experiences.
Just this week, our Year 6 students returned from their residential trip to PGL, where they embraced new challenges, tried thrilling activities, and showed great bravery—especially when tackling their fears of heights! Earlier in the term, our Year 4 pupils concluded their own adventure at Ufton Court, creating fantastic memories along the way.
Beyond our residentials, the children have been engaged in a wide range of activities. We’ve had chess lessons and competitions, encouraging strategic thinking and resilience. Our Easter celebrations brought plenty of fun, with creative bonnet-making for our parade and our first-ever Easter egg hunt, which was a huge success.
We’ve also enjoyed trips, swimming lessons, and important charity events, including Comic Relief and World Book Day. It has been a busy and fulfilling term—just the way we love it at St. John the Baptist!
Wishing you all a safe and restful Easter break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday, 22nd April for another exciting term ahead.
Best wishes,
Ms Toni Mason
