Dear Families, It was lovely to see so any parents and families at Children’s Progress Meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday evening this week. Some great feedback and questions have been reported by teachers and I spoke to many, many proud parents after their meetings. It is a great opportunity to both celebrate your child’s progress and to also understand what can be done at home to help your child make progress. We have just 4 days next week – we will be opening the gates at 1:45pm on Thursday. We restart for all children on Monday 15th April. Have a wonderful weekend. Best wishes, Toni Mason Thanks to great donations we have some great prizes! We have Easter hampers and gift cards, an Amazon fire tablet and an air fryer that can be won. Please return the raffle tickets by Wednesday morning as we will be drawing the winners with children on Wednesday at school. If you have won we will call you and let you know to pick up the prize on Wednesday afternoon. Money raised will be used for books and resources for the children in their classes! The children have thought up and we organised a fun competition. We are running a ‘Guess the eggs in the jar’ competition. These jars are at the school office. 1 guess is 50p or 3 guesses for £1.00. The winner will be the closest guess! Please send in the money with the children or pop into the office for a guess. As part of fundraising we are holding a non uniform day for all children on Thursday 28th of March. If your child would like to wear their choice of clothes, we are asking for a £1 coin donation on the gate. Please check out the Childline Online Safety information you can share with your children here. It has some excellent tips on staying safe online and how to keep your details safe. Applications are being considered for admittance to our 2 year old and 3 year old Nursery. Your child is eligible to start in the term following their 2nd or 3rd birthday. In some circumstances they may be able to start on their birthday so please enquire so we can help you with the options! You may be eligible for help with additional hours and fees. Please see the office for more information! In Art this week we created our own patterns using different materials and different colours....
