Dear Families, Thank you to everyone who joined us this afternoon for our Outstanding Celebration this afternoon. It was so special to have everyone together and enjoy some treats in celebration of our wonderful achievement. A big thank you also to the parents and children who spoke to the inspector who was with us for our SIAMS inspection today. We will be able to publish the result of the visit in due course. If you were unable to attend please call or visit the office to book your appointment. Booking sheets will also be in the playground after school on Monday. Your child is eligible to start in the term following their 2nd or 3rd birthday. Thank you to everyone who purchased a red nose or ribbon for their outfit or donated a £1 coin on the gates. All your donations make a huge different to children living in poverty across the world. On Friday afternoon we celebrated our outstanding Ofsted achievement. We invited our parents in for cake and celebrations. We all had a fantastic time celebrating together. Thank you to all the parents who joined us!... This week we had an exciting visit from Sav Akyus, author and illustrator of “I am bear” and “Bear moves” books. Picked Pepper Books in Crouch End are sourcing books for our visit so if you would like to order your child a signed copy...... In Maths, Maple have been partitioning numbers to explore multiplying numbers together that are beyond the usual 12x that they learn in their times tables. For example, 18 x 7 could be partitioned into 10 x 7 + 8 x 7 or, alternatively, 9 x...... Rowan Tree students embarked on a magnetic investigation this week, hunting down magnetic materials around the school. They were in wonder and awe of all the different magnetic materials they found.... Our wonderful disciples took a trip to the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday night to perform in the Schools Prom Praise and they were all amazing.... We are consolidating our blending and segmenting skills in reception phonics....Children’s Progress Meetings
