Dear Families,
What a wonderful week it has been in school! There is a real festive buzz in the air as we move into December. The corridors are filled with the beautiful sound of singing as children rehearse for their nativities, and excitement is building as they prepare for their special parts in the performances.
We are also very proud of our school choir from Years 3–6, who will be performing at St John’s Hoxton Church for their Carols by Candlelight service. It promises to be a truly magical evening, and we hope to see many of you there to support the children.
As we head into the colder months, please continue to look after yourselves and your families. Keeping well helps ensure that children can be in school every day, ready to learn and enjoy all the wonderful opportunities this season brings.
Wishing you all a warm and joyful start to the festive period.
Ms Toni Mason

We are holding our annual Christmas Fayre – focused meeting with the Friends of St John the Baptist on Thursday 4th December at 2:50pm. All families are warmly invited to join us, especially if you would like to support in making this year’s Fayre our best ever, or if you have a spare hour or two to help with preparations in the coming couple of weeks.
Your ideas, energy and enthusiasm make a huge difference, and it would be wonderful to see as many of you there as possible.

As we prepare for our upcoming Christmas Fayre, we are kindly asking for any donations you may be able to offer to support our raffle and tombola stalls. These stalls are always a highlight of the event, and your generosity helps us create a fun, festive atmosphere while raising valuable funds for our school community. We welcome a wide range of items, including unopened toiletries, chocolates and sweets, small games or toys, books, gift sets, stationery, candles, festive decorations, or even vouchers from local businesses. If you have something suitable tucked away at home or are able to pick up a small item during your next shop, we would be incredibly grateful.
On Friday 5th December, we shall be having an own clothes day where you can bring in these donations. Every contribution, big or small, helps make the Christmas Fayre a success for all our families. Thank you for your continued support and festive spirit!
