Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back to the summer term! I hope you all had a restful holiday and have returned feeling refreshed and ready for the term ahead.
It was lovely to see so many of you on Tuesday morning enjoying the delicious treat organised by the Friends of St John the Baptist — coffee and doughnuts are always a great way to ease back into the school routine! A big thank you to FOSJB for organising such a thoughtful welcome back.
Although this term is a short one, it’s one of my favourites. It’s a time when we start to see some of the most significant progress in our children — their confidence has grown, friendships have deepened, and their learning really begins to flourish as the year comes together.
Below, you’ll find some key dates to be aware of, including three very exciting coffee mornings we have planned. These are a fantastic opportunity to connect with other parents and carers, share ideas, and simply enjoy being part of our vibrant school community.
As always, everyone is welcome to attend our FOSJB meetings — your ideas and support are always greatly appreciated.
Warm regards,
Toni Mason
